In the recent times White fecal disease (WFD) is very prevalent and causing huge damage to the culture. The main causative agents for WFD are bacteria mainly vibrio species, high organic loads, toxins produced by certain species of algae and EHP ( EHP infected shrimps may or may not show the symptom of white feces).
Growel has conducted studies on the subject and developed a new Feed Supplement formulation to minimize the incidence of WFD and to protect the shrimp from the stress. As stated by renowned scientists around the world, White fecal disease (WFD) is transformation, sloughing and aggregation of hepa to pancreatic microvilli. WFD infected shrimp shows poor growth, drop in feed consumption, white fecal stings on water surface and in the check tray leading to mortality. This leads to premature harvest and inflict great financial losses to the farmers.
